Abstract Frequency control of an interconnected power system in the presence wind integration is complex since speed/power variations also affect frequency addition to load perturbations. Therefore, improving existing schemes necessary maintain a stable such scenarios. In this paper, new 2-degree freedom combined proportional-integral and derivative scheme applied integrated system. designing controller, several inputs used for secondary loop are considered along with merits controllers. The controller provides better action than controllers as evidenced by wide variety results presented. For tuning gains, crow search optimization algorithm (CRSOA) used. Results obtained via MATLAB/Simulink software.
